Elana's Approach
I am privileged to be the steward of this clinic of talented professionals. I offer experiential clinical supervision to interns and practitioners, manage the day-to-day clinic operations, and offer a small therapy practice.
My therapy approach draws out the body's natural healing tendencies. Together with my clients I tune into the body's wisdom to allow it to guide them to a state of wellness. I offer reflections, teachings from both traditional and scientific sources, and practices to help along the way. I frequently check in to make sure whatever tool I'm using feels right and is working.
I can provide psychedelic integration therapy for those who find themselves in need of integrating an experience. I cannot provide information on where to obtain or how to use psychedelics and I never recommend using alone. Please make safe and well-informed decisions given the risks and current legal prohibition of psychedelics.
My approach integrates a caring presence with emotions-focused therapies, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, EMDR, somatic (body-based) therapies, mindfulness, radical acceptance and self compassion, transpersonal psychotherapy, and narrative therapy.
